So it’s obvious that X-Men:First Class is not based on the original X-men but it assembled a very interesting crew of mutants together. I think that this film had great character development. I love how they intertwined true life events and incorporated it into the movie. Some of the relationships in this movie become so strong and you come to understand how relationships come to be in the X-men trilogy. I don’t understand why Havok was chosen instead of Cyclops but at least the actor played him well and he has that all American white boy look:) All together great story and interesting to watch if you are a fan. A Must see. A-
Three pillars of white supremacy through the eyes of Andrea Smith
A very interesting article I read this evening during my Leadership Academy Class has help understand something that I was made aware of during my days in the military. The three pillars that hold up White Supremacy is Slavery/Capitalism, Genocide/Colonialism and Orientalism/War. I believe that it’s very important for not only this generation but also the people of color to be aware of this. And White Supremacy isn’t and shouldn’t be a white/black binary but be acknowledged that it’s the concept of supremacy in general that can hurt our community and cause a division in our world.
So Lime is having a new event every Thursday called Burgers Alcohol Music (B.A.M.) Today is the trial run and the first 50 people to RSVP get unlimited burgers and mojitos…CHYEA!
Caught in the Moment…
So Las Vegas was beyond fun. Even though drama was in the air, I had an amazing time being able to chill and let loose. Met some of the LA boys which was goodtimes every night we were out. I loved sharing this weekend with an amazing person who had me at hhheeeyyyyyy:P lol. And also just really getting to know some of my friends in a more deeper level than in a club scene. Mikey, Phoeut and Brian just to name a few. Thanx for all the smiles, laughs and memories. And remember to keep dancing til the World ends….
So I park my car in front of my place and find my passenger side window shattered with my school bag stolen….dammit if you wanted animation paper for your a$$ and markers for make up just let me know next time!!!!! So annoyed!
